“ We enjoyed another lovely lunch with the family. The restaurant was fully booked, but the wait wasn't unusually long. We each had an appetizer. This was a fantastic caramelized goat cheese with walnuts and honey. On our last visit, it was accompanied by a rocket salad, and the lingering acidity of the dressing beautifully complemented the cheese. I wish it had been the same this time, but I forgot to mention it. We also had scallops and scampi in mild garlic butter. These were cooked to perfection and were very flavorful. For our main course, we had melt-in-your-mouth beetroot triangles in a smooth sage butter with Parmesan, and stuffed sacchetti with pear, goat cheese, and walnut in a mascarpone sauce. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. We're already looking forward to our next visit. ”

“ About six months ago, friends recommended Trattoria Isola to us, and since it's only about 10 minutes away, we immediately reserved a table for four. Every guest is greeted very warmly and with a handshake. Once seated, the waiter takes your drink order, which is brought to your table very quickly. In addition to the regular menu, there's an attractive and varied weekly special. A delicious bruschetta is served as a welcome gift from the kitchen. Since then, we've been there at least every two weeks and have tried many different dishes. With one small exception, we've always had very tasty and attractively presented meals. The dish we complained about was immediately removed from the bill without discussion, and an alternative was offered – this is a very exemplary approach to a complaint. We tried various fish dishes, meat dishes, and various pizzas and pastas. Our favorites include the fish and tomato soup, vitello tonnato, the pizza isola & caprese, the rump steak with olives & capers, and, of course, panna cotta & tiramisu. The wine is always served in chilled glasses, and a digestif is always included at the end. We have recommended this restaurant to our friends several times, and the response has been great. We look forward to our next visit! ”
